Very nice place inside the old village of ushguli. The host lady does not speak English but her son and daughter speak English very well. We had both dinner and breakfast (very aboundant), everything was freshly made and good! They also offered a horse tour that you can do by yourself or with the guide. Very recommended

This is a wonderful place run by great, lovely family. They are all so nice, kind and helpfull, making U feel very welcome. I recommend to everyone ;) food was excellent as well ;)

The staff was very helpful and kind. They offered us fruits and drinks. Also arranged taxi for us and let us wash our clothes for free.
It has very thin walls so you can hear the hosts.

It was cozy, the bedding feels nice on the skin, and one of the host family's sons - Giorgi - was very friendly and helpful upon our arrival, generously sharing his homemade drinks with some of our group after we returned from dinner. It appears that they only have one room for guests so at any one time it would just be you and the host family, which adds to the cozy feeling.
There was a miscommunication about breakfast -- we did not really want breakfast but they made breakfast for us anyway, and we had little choice but to eat and pay since the food was already made. The food is good but I did not appreciate feeling 'forced' to eat. We were also immediately bombarded with tour and activity recommendations upon arrival as one of the family works in tourism, and while I understand the desire to make some extra cash, it didn't feel so good to be treated like "income opportunities" in such an overt way. When we chose to eat outside for dinner instead of having them cook for us (which would have been extra money for them), there were comments made that made me feel like we chose wrong and we should have eaten with them (although our chosen food place was fantastic). So while on the one hand the hospitality is wonderful and enthusiastically provided, it also felt very deliberately focused on extracting more money from us, which did not feel so great. However, the place is as described and photographed, we rested well, and it is set in a beautiful location.

A guesthouse I recently had the pleasure of staying at far surpassed my expectations. I knew I had found a truly hidden gem as soon as I set foot in the welcoming reception room. This charming inn in the middle of a town caught my heart and gave me an experience I'll never forget. The guesthouse has a welcoming atmosphere that put me at ease right away. Every little thing had been thought out, from the nicely adorned communal areas to the carefully chosen furnishings in the suites. The interior decoration created a calm and peaceful ambiance by striking the ideal balance between contemporary elegance and rustic charm. The room I stayed in was a haven of tranquility. It was immaculately clean, with a comfortable bed that embraced me in its soft embrace after a long day of exploration. The amenities provided were of top-notch quality, and every little detail had been meticulously thought out. From the plush bathrobes to the organic toiletries, I felt pampered and rejuvenated throughout my stay. One of the highlights of my experience was the guesthouse's dining options. The breakfast spread was a feast for the senses, with an array of freshly baked pastries, locally sourced fruits, and a selection of gourmet delicacies. The culinary team (family members)💕💕demonstrated their passion for gastronomy through every bite, leaving me eager to explore their menu for lunch and dinner. I definitely recommend and I’m definitely returning here for my next adventure

The guesthouse surpassed all my expectations in every way. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. Beautiful views of the mountains and a very friendly host. we really enjoyed how relaxed and comfortable this guesthouse was, we stayed here three nights and it was perfect for recovering from trekking.

Nice house with a nice garden in a beautiful area
Especially one of the sons just wanted to make some more money with us. First, by trying to sell some tours and extras (which is ok). Then by „inviting“ us to dinner without telling that it‘s not a real invitation, but a quite expensive offer. (What is not ok) After we denied also this offer he got very unfriendly to us and first prohibited us to use the kitchen. The rest of the family seemed to be nicer, but partly couldn’t speak english. Also the house and garden is nice this was a really bad experience for us!

Room not clean at all, I would even say it was really dirty (see photo) Bathroom filty and very small. Toilet did not work properly. The young man (son of the host?) was persistantly trying to sell his taxi services / tours, for a very high price. This was very unpleasant for us. We tried to avoid him by staying in the room the whole evening.

Très joli site. 15mn du village principal d'Ouchgouli et 2mn du petit village. Petite maison très bien aménagée. Un peu à l'écart du village. Bien calme. Famille très accueillante. Très beau terrain. Quelques chevaux sur place.

Świetni gospodarze. Młodzi ludzie, którzy bardzo dobrze mówią po angielsku i są bardzo otwarci. Bardzo dobrze rozmawiało się z nimi na różne tematy. Opowiedzieli bardzo dużo o historii Gruzji. Jedzenie przygotowywane od podstaw na miejscu przepyszne i w bardzo dobrej cenie. Dodatkowo można skorzystać z jazdy konnej czy to na sam lodowiec, albo po pobliskim terenie. Gospodarze pomogli również z transportem. Mieliśmy okazję również napić się pysznego wina. Pani domu to bardzo ciepła osoba, pokazała jak przyrządza potrawy i służyła pomocą. Malownicze położenie tylko dodaje uroku i dopełnia całość. POLECAM!

Leider konnten wir nicht direkt in Kochukis übernachten, weil wir die Check in Time 18:00 Uhr verpasst hatten, aber die zwei Schwestern haben uns beim Nachbarn eine Ausweichmöglichkeit gefunden. Das Frühstück gekocht von der Mutter war der Hammer und auch die Gespräche und Gastfreundschaft war toll. Danke

Haben nichts gegessen, wenn man das nicht möchte einfach gleich zu beginn bescheid geben dann entstehen hier keine Probleme. Die Gastgeber waren nett und der Hund lieb.
Leider war es am Abend/ in der Nacht extrem laut, die Wände sind gefühlt nicht vorhanden und man hört jedes Wort der Gastgeber. Der Hund ist zwar lieb aber am Abend und in der Nacht bellt er furchtbar… Das Badezimmer ist eher mäßig.. Das Zimmer wirklich extrem klein und am Abend waren extrem viele Fliegen, Motten und andere Insekten im Zimmer da die Türe nicht 100% richtig schließt.
