Super nice host family
The host family is super nice. The kids welcomed me and showed me all the animals - very cute cat! - and the grandparents prepared snacks. Dinner and breakfast are 20 Lari each and super tasty, which was the best value on my whole hike.

Feels like home
The family of this guesthouse is very friendly. The garden was a good place to spend the afternoon/evening. We directly felt like being home. The food was very good and homemade. I can only recommend this place!

Friendly host, good location
- Fast WiFi - Owner is very nice and accommodating, let us have breakfast at 7am so that we can start our hike early (at first she said the breakfast is 8am but when we asked that we wanted earlier she accepted 7am) - Good location, it’s at the starting point for Day 2 trekking - I liked the aubergine dish for dinner - The heater made the room really comfortable

Great stay for trekking
Had a very good stay here on my trek to Ushguli. Would definitely recommend staying here! Good food, comfy bed and pretty garden.

I cannot say enough good things about this guesthouse! The owner is an angel! Everything was very clean and comfortable. There was such a warm, family feel there, and it was the perfect size for conversations with friends old and new. I will ABSOLUTELY stay here!

Wonderful guesthouse. Delicious, home grown food. Amazing value for money.
Lovely, intimate guest house run by a very kind local family who are such warm people. The food is the best we’ve had in Georgia so far, hands down. All of it was freshly prepared and all the vegetables come from their own garden. The price for breakfast and dinner was also the best we came across on our trek. The facilities were clean and the shower was hot with good water pressure. We would highly recommend staying here.
Nothing major, just make sure you ask for the wifi to be turned on (it may be turned off at night).

A dream
Perfect! warm and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax including a lounge area and dining room. The food was also incredible, all sourced from the garden, including the yoghurt and cheese which was made from their own cows!

Amazing guesthouse, super nice family, great food (everything is locally grown in their garden, bread is handmade, milk and cheese from their own cows), clean and comfortable. I played with their two young kids, which was a great way to spend the evening. Located right on the Mestia - Ushguli trail. Good shower with hot water. Definitely recommended!!!

Beautiful stay and great experience.
I loved everything about this place. The host family is LOVELY, although we had maybe some troubles in communicating, they were so willing to spend time with us, explain things with patience, give us advices... We played with the children, helped with making homemade bread... All the food is 100% produced by them and you can feel it. Also, it is a great location considering it is in Zhabeshi and the road to Adishi (next stop if you are doing the Mestia-Ushguli trek in 4 days) is very close to the house. The beds were so comfy we felt asleep at 9PM and woke up after 11 hours...
There is nothing I did not like. At first maybe it was a little difficult to understand if the place we reached was actually correct, since the main host was away and the children welcomed us. But she returned very quickly and gave us everything we needed.

And authentic Svan house experience!!
The Mamuka was the highlight of my visit on svaneti!!! It is actually a real country house with its garden and all the cultivated vegetables there, that combines the modern room facilities with the untouched traditional main house. The best food I had in Svaneti!! The bread and cheese were been directly made by the lady of the house near the garden table.

Wonderful
This was one of my favorite homestays in Georgia. A very nice family in a quiet and clean home. Unlike the commercial guesthouses, this space only has two bedrooms, so you are sure to have more quiet and access to the shared bathroom.

Lovely place in the middle of the mountains in Zhabeshi
This guesthouse is the first one that we saw coming from Mestia by foot, the host was very nice and friendly and prepared us a delicious meal quickly. We felt very welcome there and there was a heater available which was fantastic to dry out wet shoes after the trek! Thank you so much!

살아보고 싶은 시골마을 숙소
우쉬굴리 트레킹 4일 중 첫날 숙소였는데, 트레킹 마치고 다음 날 출발하기 좋은 숙소에요. 저렴하고 저녁과 조식도 트레킹 숙소들 중에서 가장 맛있고 푸짐했어요. 요리솜씨 좋으시고 욕실 깨끗하고 독립된 방과 부엌 좋았어요. 강아지 친근하고 귀엽고 사과나무랑 마당이랑 밤하늘까지 나중에 또 오거나 이런 집에 살고 싶은 생각이 드는 숙소.
없습니다 다만 아침에 기다리시는 것 같아서 서둘러나오느라고 파우치를 놓고왔어요

Gut gelegen, gutes Essen, freundliche Familie
Die Familie, insbesondere Natia, war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und das Essen war phantastisch (vegetarisch war kein Problem). Ein großer Garten mit vielen Tieren lädt abends zum Verweilen ein. Die Unterkunft liegt nur 5 Minuten entfernt vom Mestia- Ushguli - Trek, also perfekt für die Wanderung. Das Zimmer ist schlicht, aber es gibt Mückengitter und das Bad ist geräumig und sauber.

Tan humilde como delicioso.
La hospitalidad de la gente que alli vivia y el lugar rodeado de huerta y montaña. El desayuno de lo más delicioso que he probado en Georgia y desde luego en mi vida. Todo artesanal y elaborado con productos de km0. Impresionante. El precio inmejorable. La dueña me dejó estar con ella mientras cocinaba. Una experiencia que no olvidaré.
Que no tuvieran una cerveza para ofrecerme. Es una tontería pero tuve que caminar bastante para tomarme esa cerveza después del camino.

J’ai été accueillie chaleureusement dans cette maison lors de mon premier stop sur mon trajet de randonnée de Mestia a Ushguli. La maison est calme et entourée du potager familial La salle de bain est neuve et la maison propre. J’y ai très bien mangé.

Un lugar precioso habitado por una hermosa familia. El lugar es tranquilo e idílico, rodeado de animales y el huerto familiar que abastece el delicioso menú que comimos. La mejor experiencia de la ruta sin duda.

Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr nett mit zwei Kindern die sich gerne mit den Gästen unterhalten und die Tiere vorstellen :) es war niedlich. Die Gastgeberin ist eine tolle Köchin. Der Großteil der Zutaten kommt aus dem hauseigenen Garten. Wir haben 30 Lari pro Person für Abendbrot bezahlt. Es hat sich gelohnt, alles war sehr lecker.

guesthouse is perfect gelegen wanneer je de trekking van Mestia naar Ushguli loopt. De eigenaresse is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam en het eten is heerlijk. Niet twijfelen, doen!

Diese Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Preis-Leistung war gut. Das Essen war echt lecker! Und die Familie war wirklich freundlich! Empfehlenswert. Weil ich es nirgends gefunden haben: das Essen kostet jeweils 20 GEL pro Kopf.

An sich hat das guesthouse einen schönen Garten. Leider stand nachts um 3 einfach jemand in meinem Zimmer , und es war nicht als shared room gebucht. Als ich am nächsten Morgen gefragt habe wie das kam, wurde es so dargestellt als wäre ich schuld, da ich ja mich hätte einschließen sollen. Keine Ahnung was hier mit der georgischen Gastfreundschaft passiert ist.

とても快適！しかし夕飯が残念
家族はみんな愛想が良く、子供たちが可愛く、おじいちゃんが素敵でした。 部屋も清潔で、シャワーやトイレも広くて清潔、暖かいシャワーが出ました。 朝ごはんは申し分ありませんでした！
夕飯が少し物足りませんでした…スープと小さなサラダ、ヨーグルト、ハチャプリ。大量のパンはあったものの、せめてあと一品おかずが欲しかった…（これがスバネティの普通なのかな？と思ったのですが、この後泊まったトレッキングのゲストハウスでは充分なもてなしを受けました）
