It was real good and clean property. It’s a family house and the family is so good. I faced no problem at all and would like to visit again. Everyone were so good and given required essentials to make living for the time I was there. Cheers. 🥂

A piece of heaven in Kazbegi. The property is located 5 minutes walk from the busy centre, in a quiet and peaceful part of town. The room was extremely clean and spacious, with amazing views of Mount Kazbek. If the place wasn't perfect enough as it is, the host is extremely welcoming and helpful. She made us feel at home the 3 days we stayed there :)

- nice room with a very comfortable bed - amazing breakfast - very nice owners who helped us arrange horse riding in the Truso Valley (a great attraction!!)
- too little surface in the room to keep our stuff - there was only one small bedside table so we needed to keep our things on the floor

The hosts - Nino and Georgi are amazingly kind people. The accommodation is an excellent value for money - simple, but solid, all you need to spend a night, cook your breakfast/lunch/tea, etc. It's perfect as a base for mountain climbers. While I was out in the hills, I got attacked and seriously bitten by shepherd dogs, so eventually had to spend a couple days in my bed. I didn't tell anyone what happened, just sneaked, limping into my room straight from a hospital. But Nino somehow figured out that something was not going according to the plan with me, asked me what happened, cooked me a broth, tea...I was very very touched. I will use this space to once again extend my great thanks to her and Georgi! All in all, the place is highly recommended!
The shower in the far room may be leaking into the room space - watch out for that!

Well heated comfortable rooms, location is quiet and peaceful away from the town center yet at walking distance from the bus station. 2 huge but very adorable and non harmful dogs.

really really good value for the price, incredible view, quiet, double bed plus private bathroom with reliable hot water and balcony plus good internet - everything's amazing :)

The room was very warm and tidy, the bed was comfortable. Water under the shower was pleasantly hot Nice owners and a great view from the kitchen window. We had a chance to do laundry for an extra charge. A tea and coffe for gust is provided.It was really nice to stay there for three nights.
The bathroom was in a bad shape, the mold was on the walls and the shower was very small connected with a toilet so the floor was all wet after a bath. In the kitchen shared with a family of owners there are only some utilities and there is no refrigerator. The place has really thin walls so You can hear everything that is going on in the kitchen as well as a dog which howls outside. Finding a place was a bit difficult and there is not much space for parking a car.

The room and house was very clean and modern, bathroom was working well, hot water, tea and coffee for use and the house is on the edge of the village which makes it quiet and with an amazing view. Nice garden I didn't talk much to the family, they seemed friendly

The view from this place you won't believe. It is possibly the last guesthouse in Kazbegi so there is nothing obscuring the majestic dormant volcano of Mqinvartsveri. The kind owners are always there to help with everything. The rooms are modest but perfectly clean. Water is super hot and the room temperature was amazing even in cold cold winter. You can use the kitchen too, we did, eating and cooking a bit.

It was very clean, Nino was very welcoming and so helpful it felt like home. I recommend a stay at this guesthouse for anyone visiting Stepansminda 😂
I think a small table and two chairs in the room will give visitors somewhere to put their things. Bed frame needs replacing or fixing, it squeaks a lot

Friendly staff. Host speaks good English. Decent clean room. Amazing value for the price.
They have a dog that barks at night. It's a little hidden, you need to call when you arrive so they help you to find the place.

The view from the backyard on mt. Kazbegi is marvellous and since the object is located on the outskirts of the village it was quiet and athmospheric. The kitchen is available all the time and the room is quite tidy.
There was a weird information on booking that the room is soundproof. I don't know what they meant but it was the opposite and you could hear family of the owners sitting in the kitchen. As well as smell the dinner, they were cooking.

Cheap but great room with private bathroom and balcony. Riverside Kazbegi offers more than the properties for the similar price offer in Georgia. It's a gem. Plus, they have English speaking staff/family and offer free tea/coffee as an added bonus. Definitely a recommendation. :)

Good location with simple, but clean rooms. We were able to use the kitchen of the family, which was very convenient to cook our own meal. A positive surprise! The family was also very kind.
The rooms are a bit small and simple, but for a stay in Kazbegi good enough because you'll probably spend more time outside to enjoy the mountains ;-)

I had a really good time staying here. The family is super nice, the rooms are nice, the animals around the house are nice. If you want to enjoy a stay in a farm-like environment, this is the place to choose. You can even have freshly made breakfast made from what the family produces. Also the environment is quite nice - not super central, but that makes it very relaxed and quiet.
It's a bit difficult to find when you first get there. A sign would be nice.

The property is super clean, and has everything you might need and more. The location is fantastic. The owners are just amazing, they made you feel so welcome, they go above and beyond to help you with anything you need and more and make your stay so comfortable that we were sad to leave. Nino, Gia and Gela thank you so much for your hospitality, we will be back.
Only one - we stayed for only one night. We would be stay for a long time.

Absolutely friendly and helpful family, which offers also Tours to waterfalls or truso valley. The breakfast is already amazing and most from own production. It's very quiet but already just 5 minutes to the centre of Stepanzminda. I would like to recommend it and i was very happy with my choice.

Affordable comfortable and clean private room
It was hard to find and even when I found the property I knocked on the wrong door since there is no sign. Make sure you check maps.me it is down an alley and past the "Kazbegi house" past a farm. It's the far door on the property.

We choose places to stay base on price/location. We didn't spend much time at the property, but it met all our requirements. This property had nice kitchen, with all necessities. Kitchen is also partially used by owners so it had all the necessities. Radiators were very warm, so we turned them down for the night, but it is nice that rooms are very well heated and if necessary you can turn the heat down or open the window. Hosts were very nice.
Nothing to complain. As we traveled in February most of locations with heating had very dry air, so at night we would wake up and drink water, but that was common in most locations, we are just used to more humid air.

The family was lovely, friendly and always smiling. The room was cozy, warm and clean. The location was amazing and easy to get to most sightseeing places or even to Gudauri if you have your own transport (or marshrutka). Surroundings were gorgeous and many shops close by! 🌞

The owner is friendly and the price is really cheap. It's a small room with a rinky dinky bed but perfectly fine for the price.
Chained-up dog barked all night, even with ear plugs and closed windows you could still hear it. We decided to leave after that one night to a place somewhere quiet. The owner visibly felt bad. We were happy we did leave!

The room is very small, a primitive shower room, a balcony overlooking the garden. The kitchen is shared with the owners without a refrigerator. You can only stay in your room, since there is no space or equipped seating area in the kitchen or in the yard.

Low price. Reliable internet.
There is no street number on booking platform nor a sign with the name "Riverside Kazbegi" anywhere in or around the property. I tried to identify the place from one photo of the property available on booking. I had a confirmed request for check-in between 14.00-15.00. I was there at 14.00, but there was no one around except two big dogs (one free and coming towards me as I entered the yard). I called twice the owner but she didn't reply nor returned my call. I had to wait outside in temperature as low as-4oC for about half an hour. Finally, it was another guest, who seemed to stay there for long, that showed me my room. He told me that the kitchen is shared with the owners and that I should be careful which plates and cuttlery to use, as the family keeps some for their exclusive use and has different for the guests. This was also the first thing that the elderly man living in the property tried to make sure that I know when I came back around 17.00. In Georgia, a guest is considered as "a gift from God". In this property, I had the feeling that the owners do not really want to have guests, but they have to do it for money. There is no kettle in the room, as described, but only in the common kitchen.

This place is essentially a couple or spare rooms attached to a family’s house. The rooms are spartan but comfortable, and there’s a common kitchen that one can use. The host lady is friendly and hospitable.
There was no sign on the front gate informing people that this was the correct guesthouse. For this reason, we had a hard time finding this place even though at times we were literally standing just outside the gate.

Very friendly owner, clean place, fantastic view on the mountain and the church from the kitchen windows.
The place was in general quite cold because of bad isolation and a heater that turns on only at night (in September), and the dog in the garden barked and howled every couple hours in the night - not a place for sensitive sleepers.

Nice view from the window.
The room was damp. Bed was squeaking, cracking, clicking, clacking. Mould everywhere in the bathroom. It was cold to take a shower, and if you took a shower, it was impossible to go to the toilet anymore as the floor stayed vet for ages, unless you have wellies, maybe. Owners weren't welcoming. Didn't even know which room is ours. They don't speak Russian, neither decent English. No kettle in the room, but at the main kitchen, where it was impossible just to sit and have a cup of coffee as there's no table in the room, but the kitchen was busy all the time as owners thought that we're going to use their food.
