Can’t wait to be back!
The best part of your stay was lovely owner and his wife. They made us feel most welcomed. We had delicious dinner & breakfast (and of course amazing wine!!). Room was also really nice, super comfortable bed and stylish bathroom. We loved our balcony where we could relax on sun beds and just enjoy the garden view.

Wonderful hosts
Davit and his wife were spectacular hosts, preparing wonderful (and huge!) meals for us and engaging so sweetly with our young kids. Neither speak english, but managed perfectly fine with google translate.

A heartfelt guesthouse
The host Davit did everything to make sure we had the best possible stay. We didn't have a common language, but communicated with the help of Google Translate. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and filling. Beautiful garden for relaxing. Good location if you want to visit the national park.

5/8/24: Peaceful, quiet, clean, and close to the National Park for hikes and river swims. The hosts were most hospitable, kind, and accommodating. The food was excellent. Would certainly recommend.

This is SUCH special place! Marina and David are the kindest hosts we could imagine! Also the garden is beautiful, especially the room with extra terasse. We recommend you to eat there its delicious, and the variety of Marinas homemade dishes is fantastic! Fntastic Stay in Lagodekhi.
Imagine you are visiting your good friends. It is much more than a hotel, it is rather your family. Comfy room, delicious breakfasts and dinners by Marina (much better than any restaurant!), priceless guidelines and narratives by Davit. That is an ultimate Georgian hospitality in beautiful lands of Lagodekhi. 5 min. walk to National Park, short drive to all main attractions of Kakheti. Highly recommended! We will definitely come again.

Davit and Maria were wonderful hosts making us feel at home. We were truly spoilt. We opted to eat in for our meals and Maria is an amazing cook. A huge assortment of delicious local dishes and home made wines and chahcha More than we could possibly eat. True Georgian hospitality.

Wonderful hosts in a beautiful landscape
Our stay at the Winehouse was really wonderful, David and his wife are just great hosts and were always keen to help. The food and the homemade wine was delicious and David gave us even a bottle as a present when we left. We highly recommend the Winehouse!

Everything was great. The hosts are wonderful people and will do anything to help you. Your chances of leaving with less weight than when you arrived are zero! Excellent tasty food and wine, good company and good humour. (This is only the second time I have given a perfect score)

No Doubt, one of the best palces where you can experience Authentic Georgian Hospitality.
Excelent place to stay and have some rest after long exhausting hike. Hosts are very nice people oriented to make your stay more comfortable and memorable. We really loved our stay here. The hosts were exceptional! They helped us to arrange a horse riding trip in the national park, gave us some delicious treats to enjoy when we arrived, and made an amazing homemade dinner and breakfast for us. The room was also great for our one night stay. Staying here helped us to experience the true Georgian culture, and we would definitely recommend it to others. We hope to visit again soon, but for longer next time!

We travelled during the last 10 months and found our favourite accommodation in a corner of Georgia at the border to Azerbaijan. Homemade wine, excellent food, comfy bed and 10minutes by foot to the entrance of the national park. The river with the possibility to swim in the cristal clear water was also only 5minutes away! However, the best thing was the hospitality of the couple. They told us in long evenenings a lot of stories about the life in Georgia. To leave this beautiful place broke our hearts. Don't bypass Lagodheki without a stay in the wine house and don't plan to eat/drink somewhere else, you will never regret it!

Beautiful house and wine with kind hosts
David and Maria went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice time in Lagodekhi. We were treated to fabulous home made wines and delicious meals which were carefully made to cater to our dietary requests. David also ensured we had plenty of information about local hiking spots, and helped us by driving us to hiking trails. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Unforgettable stay
Comfortable room, amazing big meals with plenty of excellent home-made wine, possibility to wash laundry, clean tap water. Very warm and friendly hosts that helped us with everything: gave us a lift to a nearby national park for a dip in the river, and even came with us to the local hospital after an ankle injury on a hike. Great humor and good conversations! Highly recommended!

Unforgettable weekend in Kakheti
The room is beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable. I especially liked the interior with elements of Georgian antiques. Delicious food, excellent wine and chacha. It was our first visit to Kakheti and it rained all the time. David literally saved our weekend, he suggested interesting sights, and also gave us a great tour around Lagodekhi, which I highly recommend. I'd like to thank David and Marie for the warm authentic Georgian hospitality! We will definitely be back this fall! The best place to stay in Lagodekhi with a fully deserved rating.

The owners were extremely friendly and hospitable! We booked the flat, which has a bedroom with a king-size bed, and a living-room with a bed sofa. The kitchen is open plan and is well-equipped for those who wish to cook. Davit und Marina also offer breakfast and dinner - the amount of food they made for us was incredible, and the quality also! Hope to come again
I have travelled already a little bit in Georgia, but Lagodheki was my best trip. The room I stayed in was very clean, comfortable and sunny (all the three windows with a view of the owners' garden). The room and the bathroom were tastefully furnished, with modern decor. At nights I switched on the heating so it was warm and cosy, the bed was comfortable, so I slept well after the long walks in the National Park. When I arrived at the Guesthouse, the owner Davit was so kind and gave me a tour over the National Park's visitor center, advised where to go trekking, and what to see in Kakheti region. Special thanks to his wife Marina for delicious meals, I had the opportunity to taste Georgian food. I will miss the evenings in the dining room, talking and sipping superb home-made wine with the owners of the Winehouse.

The friendliest, most comfortable base to explore the spectacular nature of Lagodekhi.
Davit and Maria were perfect hosts and we enjoyed their company enormously. Davit is a virtuoso with Google Translate so he can speak with anyone regardless of language. The room we booked was an entire suite, far larger and better equipped than we expected. The house is perfectly located to explore the surrounded forests, rivers and mountains. We couldn't recommend it more highly.

The place is just wonderful, the room is very comfortable, the food is delicious and the people are the best. The owner arrange everything we needed, he drove is to the starting point for the hike and organized a horse ride for the next day. I really recommend eating at this place, it will be the best food you can find! Thanks a lot for the wonderful time!

At the foot of the Lagodekhi Nature Reserve, the Winehouse Guest House is quite splendid. It is a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our hosts provided an expertly prepared and sumptuous dinner, complete with their own wine. The breakfast was equally delectable. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and it was nice to relax under the grape arbor that covers part of the garden. We were treated as honored guests. It’s well worth the trip to Lagodekhi.

great place with fantastic hospitality and good food
This is a great place to spend a few days in Lagodekhi. nice big clean rooms with comfortable beds, a lovely garden full of vines and fruit trees, and great home cooking. But what really made it stand out was the hospitality and generosity of our hosts. Davit and Marina treat guests like members of their own family. He not only gave us a lift to the national park but also heroically picked us up quite late at night when we returned (from a three day trek). Marina spent hours producing fantastic meals, all washed down with home made wine. We really liked it here and would definitely stay again.

Probably the best place you can stay when you are in Lagodekhi!
From the very beginning we felt very welcome and comfortable at Davit‘s cozy guest house. We were a bit too early and Davit helped us with our excursions in the national park. We were also offered tea and coffee. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We strongly recommend to also order dinner and breakfast. This was really the best meals we got during our trip through Georgia. All in all we can really recommend Davit‘s guesthouse when you are in Lagodekhi. We will come back, that’s for sure. Thank you very much, Davit and Marina!

Freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, leckeres und sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück und Abendessen inclusive Wein und Chacha. Davit hat uns zum Bus und zum Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen gefahren und unterwegs mit Eis versorgt. Für die Rückreise gab’s eine Flasche Chacha als Wegzehrung. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit im Winehouse. Davit und Marina sind sehr herzliche Menschen, die Gastfreundschaft war überwältigend. Unser Zimmer war groß und sehr sauber. Wir empfehlen das Zimmer im 1.Stock. Dort hat man eine eigene Terrasse. Aber auch der Garten ist wunderschön. Wenn man möchte, kann man dort zu Abend essen, es ist sehr lecker und reichlich. Vielen Dank für die sehr schönen Tage 🫶

Absolute Empfehlung für einen Aufenthalt in Lagodechi, perfekte Lage für Wander-Ausflüge im Nationalpark. Sehr herzliches und hilfsbereites Gastgeber-Paar, familiäre Atmosphäre, toller Garten und super leckere georgische Hausmannskost, immer frisch gekocht - und genug für den extragroßen Appetit. Hausgemachten Wein gibt es zum Abendessen dazu. Extra-Tipp: Das Appartement im 1. OG hat eine ruhig gelegene, eigene Terrasse.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, geräumig und hatte alles an Ausstattung was man braucht. Außerdem ein schöner gepflegter Garten und Terrasse. Das Frühstück und Abebdessen wurde von den Gastgebern selbst zubereitet und war sehr lecker. Zum Essen gab es selbstgemachten Wein :-) Ich würde einen Aufenthalt im Winehouse wärmstens weiterempfehlen! Die Gastgeber sind wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
